Job Description

We are looking for an experienced colleague with specialist competence in transport systems for our market area, Electrical Engineering South.

At AFRY, you work with technically advanced assignments within transport systems — elevators, escalators, moving walks, and similar installations — for a broad customer base of property owners, developers, and public clients. We are an engaged team with a strong presence in southern and central Sweden, and we need to grow.

In the role of Project Manager/Inspector for Transport Systems, you will drive assignments within your area of expertise. You will prepare tender documents, technical descriptions, and specifications in early stages, working closely with architects, developers, and other design consultants. You will also conduct contract inspections of transport systems for our customers. Through your technical expertise, you are a trusted advisor helping customers make well-founded decisions — from design to implementation and management.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have broad and long-term experience within transport systems such as elevators, escalators, and similar installations. You have worked in the industry for at least seven years, either with a contractor, supplier, or as a consultant. Experience in preparing tender documents and technical descriptions is required. It is meritorious if you also have experience with contract inspections of transport systems. Knowledge of industry-specific systems for inspection and documentation of transport systems is meritorious.

As a person, you have good social skills and are motivated by having a large network where you create long-lasting and sustainable relationships. Furthermore, we see that you are meticulous and have the ability to see both details and the big picture. You thrive working in a team but also have the ability to work independently. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a valid driver's license (Category B). We assume you have basic computer skills and good knowledge of the Office package.
